Eric brought this certificate home from school this week. His class participated in an Art Competition through the Federation for Children with Special Needs. The federation is an organization in Boston for parents of kids with special needs. They focus a lot on educational advocacy. The theme was “Possibilities” and the artwork was to represent what the child would like to be when he/she grow up. I haven’t actually seen Eric’s art, but the teacher tells me that he said he wanted to be a soccer player when he grows up! Cute and sad at the same time…
